!!! Crime Alert !!!

Alert message sent 12/02/2012 16:16:00
Information sent on behalf of Nottinghamshire Police
Hello All

Over the past week unfortunately I have to report that we have had a spate of crime in the Kimberley area.

Outbuildings and garages have been entered and property stolen.
Also vehicles have been entered and items stolen from within, other vehicles have been damaged during this period.

The good news is that arrests were made in relation to some of the above incidents.

With this timely reminder PLEASE secure your property :

Ensure all doors and windows are locked even when indoors.

Valuables such as car keys, handbags and mobile phones should be kept out of sight .

If you leave the property set your intruder alarm.

Set timers to come on at different times around the house.

Fit sensor lights to the outside of the property.

Also don’t forget your outbuildings make sure they are secure with good quality locks.

DON'T give thieves the opportunity to see your valuables.

Ensure your vehicle is locked with nothing on show.
